In response to the shifting and uncertain modalities during the time of COVID it was important to design a general chemistry course that would be able to function within a range of modalities. The goal was designed within a flipped classroom which could function within the face to face, hyflex, synchronous and asynchronous learning environments. The course was designed with two topics per week. Each topic contained, preparative activities, a short video lecture, a potential group activity, and a set of post topic/summary activities. The course design, the flexibility available, and some student impressions will be covered in the presentation. In addition, potential improvements to this approach will be included.
